Triple win for Breathe London at Environmental Monitoring Awards

17/09/25

The Breathe London Consortium - which includes the Greater London Authority, Global Action Plan, Vodafone, Scotswolds, Cambridge University, CERC, Airly and Ricardo plc – won three awards at the 2025 Environmental Services and Solutions Expo, for:

  • Best Real-Time Air Quality Monitoring Project
  • AQE Judges Award
  • Innovative Sensor Technology Implementation (Air)

The consortium delivers the Breathe London network, which plays a crucial role in helping local communities, schools, hospitals and Londoners understand air pollution and take action to reduce their exposure.

Sonja Graham, Global Action Plan CEO said;

"Clean air is crucial for good health. Air pollution is largely invisible, cutting Londoners’ lives short through serious health conditions like lung and heart disease, dementia, and strokes.

We are delighted that the Breathe London project is receiving recognition for its efforts in engaging Londoners on this issue - making the invisible not only visible but actionable."

Three awards plaques from the Environmental Monitoring Awards.
