The start of the new school year is a great opportunity to promote active travel; walking, scooting, and cycling to school. These journeys keep us happy and healthy, reduce traffic, and are a great form of exercise.

This presentation helps schools and parent groups to set up a walking bus which can be a fantastic way of getting kids out of cars even when time is tight on a weekday morning. There are activities to run with a student group and a step-by-step guide to coordinate and plan your route. This session is designed for a classroom but can be used in youth groups or other settings too.
