Engine idling is an avoidable source of air pollution. This lesson plan is designed to teach primary school students about idling and why it is dangerous. It encourages students to raise awareness about this issue and how they can participate in activities to do this, such as a monitoring activity outside of school and an anti-idling campaign.

This resource is in PowerPoint format, and is a 23 slide lesson plan which covers the health harms of air pollution, what idling is, and actions students can take to tackle idling at their school.
